Kieran Gibbs made over 200 appearances for Arsenal, but despite his early potential struggled to retain a regular place in Arsene Wenger’s starting XI in the last couple of seasons and he is expected to be the first of several departures from the Emirates before Thursday’s transfer deadline.

Now Gibbs has also confirmed the move on his official twitter praising manager Arsene Wenger in the process for giving him the chance to represent his boyhood club.

Kieran Gibbs a top class fellow who doesn’t cry or throw tantrum in front of the press like the other fellow Debuchy when hes not named in the team sheet.
[spacer height=”30px”]
Instead he fights it out and has managed to bring the best out of Nacho in the previous years. He is someone i will miss seeing in an Arsenal shirt.
[spacer height=”30px”]
He follows Oliver Burke, Gareth Barry, Ahmed Hegazi and Jay Rodriguez in moving to West Brom in the transfer window, as well as Yuning Zhang, who has been loaned to Werder Bremen.
[spacer height=”30px”]
West Brom have so far spend £38m in this transfer window and are also being linked with further players.
[spacer height=”30px”]
That means they have a net spend more than that of Arsenal.
[spacer height=”30px”]
We wish him all the best at the Hawthorns and hope so see him in an England shirt soon.
