Things didn’t go well for United at Old Trafford on Tuesday in the United vs PSG game, as Solskjaer tasted his first defeat as United’s Caretaker manager. United, under Solskjaer clearly look a different team as to how they were under Mourinho but it seems, they still aren’t at a level how we are used to seeing them. 2u2b5a
It can be said that they are revolving around the right path, but aren’t getting into the right path! Here we list out a few reasons from the United Vs PSG clash as to why United are now lagging 2 goals behind and are facing an impossible task at Parc des Princes.
Three Undeniable Reasons For The 2-0 Loss In The United Vs PSG Match: 1c1w21
1. Alexis Sanchez not the real Alexis Sanchez 4y3g1y
suffered an unfortunate knock.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer put his faith in a proven performer at the highest level to enter the fold and make a difference but that didn’t happen.
In his post match press conference, Solskjaer said:
“I can’t do anything about Alexis Sanchez,”
“When he plays he needs to find himself because we know there’s a quality player there.”
The Chilean winger made 15 es since coming on as a substitute for Jesse Lingard at half-time. This was his only stat in the game where the number was above 0.

2. Nemanja Matic not Effective n5b1b
Began well, intercepting play at key moments, but lost Kimpembe on the costly corner. He and United never recovered after that.
Matic did start with authority but became uncharacteristically careless with the ball. He was also the Culprit for Presenel Kimpembe’s header form close range.
Matic played at CDM and was the anchor of the gameplay but couldn’t continue his fine game which ended in mises and losing possession many times in the United Vs PSG game.
However, Nemanja Matic still believes Manchester United will attack Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie as they have nothing to lose following a 2-0 defeat on home soil.
3. United home fans 612zx
Angel Di Maria relished his role as the villain at Old Trafford on Tuesday night. It seemed as Di Maria enjoyed the reception he received.
After being insulted and abused in the United Vs PSG contest for the best part of an hour by United fans, Di Maria’s relief after setting up Kimpembe’s opener was palpable.
While his teammates celebrated furiously in the direction of the away section, Di Maria could be seen repeatedly shouting “f*** off” in the direction of United’s ers. He rubbed further salt in United’s wounds by assisting Mbappe in PSG’s 2nd goal, so it was a good night for him.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils have larger problems at hand ahead of their 2nd leg clash against PSG. Paul Pogba will be unavailable for the second leg because of suspension. The Frenchman received a red card in the dying minutes of the United Vs PSG game.
Martial and Lingard both limped off at the end of the first half of the Champions League clash. In the meantime, United visit Stamford Bridge for their FA Cup clash against Chelsea.
Solskjaer is yet to reveal the complete extent of their injury but hopes to have them fit before the FA Cup tie.
