There no longer seems an U-turn for the career of Aaron Ramsey at Arsenal after the withdrawal of a new contract and now Bayern Munich reportedly on the verge of securing his signature for free. 1244o
The Welshman’s contract is set to expire in the summer of 2019 and, initially, it seemed like g him on a new deal was one of the biggest priorities at the Emirates. And reports of a bumper contract being tabled for Ramsey was flying around everywhere.
Reports of Arsenal bid for Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele false. As previously reported incoming business completed a month ago. Were open to exceptional deal if chance arose (ire & have links to Dembele) but never realistic. #AFC optimistic on Ramsey contract but not close

However, not long after reporting an agreement is almost in sight, David Ornstein tweeted that the Gunners have decided to withdraw their offer for good.
A new + improved 4yr contract was recently agreed between Arsenal & Aaron Ramsey. But #AFC withdrew offer, are now not in a position to proceed. Most likely he’ll leave for free next summer, unless the perfect opportunity for both parties arises in January https://t.co/5EXUoIsZx2

Later on it was reported that the men at North London no longer see him as a part of Unai Emery‘s plan and an attempt to table another offer would be highly unlikely, leaving the former Cardiff star with no choice but to look for a new club.
And after getting linked with many European elites such as Juventus and AS Roma, it seems like the Bundesliga is going to be Ramsey’s destination. According to the Independant, Bayern Munich are very confident that they have secured his services.
It was also reported that the Bavarians are already making moves to get the Welsh international to sign a long-term contract from the start of next season.
Though the midfielder is certainly one of the few players the Gooners can proudly label as a legend since the Emirates era began, it would be safe to say he would not be missed too heavily, as the likes of Granit Xhaka, Lucas Torreira, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Matteo Guendouzi seem like a better long-term prospect.
Nevertheless, ‘Rambo’ is leaving London as the club’s highest goal scoring midfielder of all time and the scorer of two FA Cup final winners. Hopefully, he can be the one to rejuvenate Niko Kovac’s struggling Bayern.
