His shot-stopping has been impeccable. He can’t be blamed for a single goal Arsenal have conceded in the league yet. The 36 year old currently is third the list in the number of saves made by a keeper this season.

The added advantage of playing Petr Cech is that of leadership. In Koscielny’s absence, Petr Cech captains the team and provides players with the encouragement they need. The experience that he brings is unparalleled, he has won the Premier League and the Champions’ League and is no stranger to anything that this league has on offer.
