The Welsh international ed Arsenal from Cardiff City in 2008 and has since made 362 appearances for the club scoring 63 goals and winning three FA Cups and two Community Shields in the meantime.
However, the 28-year-old’s contract with the North London club is set to expire this summer and it is reported that the midfielder will be ing Juventus on a free transfer.
And George Graham has raised question marks on the club’s future planning insisting that letting Ramsey leave is a big mistake.
“The clubs usually, with two years to go on the contract, sit down and start talking,” Graham told Ian Stone’s Comedy Breakfast.
“Then you have an indication of whether the player is going to stay or go.
“Obviously, they’ve made a big mistake I think in letting Ramsey go.
“He’s a quality player especially in an attacking sense.
“He’s not the best in midfield winning the ball back for you but he gets goals and is a great player going forward, not necessarily defending.”
Arsenal have already started planning for life without the former Cardiff City midfielder withCagliari’s Nicolo Barella being linked with the switch.

George Graham s comments show how much Aaron Ramsey is important to Arsenal.
The goalscoring midfielder has been a mainstay in the Arsenal midfield for more than a decade and has been one of the best players of the 2018-19 season.
But all good moments come to an end as, now, Ramsey will be ing Juventus, just because the regime decides that they do not have the wage budget for a new contract for the midfield maestro.

However, there is no denying that Ramsey has been fully professional all this time and duly performing his duties as captain as seen in the game against Newcastle.
Although many players are linked to the position to be vacated by him, but you cannot get the determined professional like him in today’s market and who knows it better than George Graham who coached the Gunners for nearly a decade and won many titles with them including the famous one at Anfield.
