Brazilian, Gabby Martinelli, was unearthed by Arsenal’s technical director Edu for a ridiculous £7.20m in 2019.
Since the move from Ituano FC, the hot shot has shone brightly, exciting Arsenal ers in the process but that’s led to speculation that a number of top clubs are ready to place a bid for his services including Real Madrid, Barcelona and Liverpool to name a few.
Six goals and 4 assists have earmarked Martinelli (18) as a future superstar and as the praise rains in, fans are wondering if he will remain at the Emirates.
Without question, Martinelli is probably Arsenal’s young player of the year but he’s also seen as the successor to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
On his future, Martinelli offered crumbs of hope when he told Four,Four, Two
“I want to win the Champions League and lots of domestic titles to make Arsenal’s fans very happy.
They deserve the best – not only the ers but all of the club’s staff.”
He added
[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]“I’d like to give back to the club after everything they’ve done for me so far, and as a result, become a Gunners legend.”[/perfectpullquote]
Arsenal fans will be relieved to hear that but that doesn’t prevent the uncertainty because there are a great many that have been alerted to his talents.
Jurgen Klopp Liverpool manager and just another irer had previously said :
[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]“Martinelli’s a talent of the century, he’s an incredible striker, so it’s really difficult.”[/perfectpullquote]
The Liverpool boss is not alone in his iration, former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand was also quoted as saying that Martinelli was :
[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””] “A major player in world football in years to come”. “I watched him against Bournemouth away, I watched him against Chelsea.” [/perfectpullquote]

He continued
[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]”He is a proper player, I think he’ll be a major player in world football in years to come. To be 18-years-old and do what he is doing.[/perfectpullquote]
Finally adding a final bit of polish to the narrative, Ex Arsenal defender Martin Keown had also come out in praise for our young attacker saying:
[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””] ‘That young man, he has the club in the palm of his hands. He can take it wherever he wants. He really is absolutely outstanding” [/perfectpullquote]
Irrespective of where he goes, He has certainly managed to unite a former Manchester United player, an Arsenal player and a Liverpool manager in their opinion of him. That alone should get him his own song at the Emirates at least.
Martinelli is the one reason that Arsenal could potentially allow Aubameyang to leave in the summer and that should be the only reason that Arsenal even consider letting their talisman leave.
