According to multiple reports by the Daily Mail, Sky Sports Transfer Central and the telegraph, Arsenal have reportedly submitted a bid of £90m for Thomas Lemar. 601z29

In fact they have reportedly had the bid accepted and further movement on the deal depends on the players willingness to move to the Emirates.

The gunners have already sold Alex Oxlade Chamberlain to Liverpool for a 40m deal in the last 24 hours.

This comes at the same time as reports have started to emerge out claiming Arsenal have accepted a bid of £60m for Alexis Sanchez with Thomas Lemar being lined up as his potential replacement.

Sanchez is a free agent at the end of the season and reports have claimed Arsenal’s players increasingly want him to be sold to City, which gives Arsenal the chance to recoup a sizeable transfer fee instead of losing him for nothing next summer.

The youngster was a key part of Monaco’s Ligue 1 title win last season and had an excellent season in guiding them to the league Trophy and ing double figure goal and assists tally in the process.

I'm told that Monaco and Arsenal have agreed a fee for Lemar but that it's now down to the player to decide if he will go #AFC

To further solidify the reports that are going around in the press this has emerged on the net confirming that talks are indeed going on with Monaco.

Earlier in August, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said that their attempts to sign Lemar had ended and the deal was ‘dead’.
[spacer height=”30px”]
He had also on multiple occasions reiterated his desire to keep Sanchez and Chamberlain at the club
[spacer height=”30px”]
But now it seems that things have changed indeed with Sanchez on the move, Lemar his replacement and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain already left for Liverpool.
[spacer height=”30px”]
The Gunners made three bids previously for Lemar, the highest of £50m, which were all rejected by the principality club as they deemed him too valuable to lose .
[spacer height=”30px”]
Now it seems that the swathe of money being offered has probably turned their heads making them more inclined to doing a deal than last time.
[spacer height=”30px”]
Whatever maybe the case, lets hope this one goes through and Arsenal reject the latest offer for Sanchez.
[spacer height=”30px”]
Too much to ask of our beloved club I know but an optimist can never stop hoping.
[spacer height=”30px”]
We will be back with the latest update on this.

Till then COYG !!!!
