The 21-year-old centre-back is all set to make his first appearance under Wenger’s successor in the Blackpool Vs Arsenal game. Unai Emery will be hoping that Mavropanos’ presence at the back will be enough to solve the defensive problems which has been threatening to cause a few problems lately.
Unai Emery confirmed the availability of the Gunners star ahead of the Blackpool Vs Arsenal FA Cup tie tomorrow. The manager said:
“This morning Dinos Mavropanos started to train after I think five months. That’s good news.”

The 21-year-old recently took part in the training session on Thursday at London Colney and had the fans raving about his performance in the training session.
In another boost to the Arsenal manager ahead of the Blackpool Vs Arsenal game, Emile Smith Rowe has returned to training after recovering from an one month old injury as reported by the manager.
“Emile Smith Rowe trained with us this morning”
The attacking midfielder who was out of Premier League action following a hip problem will be available to Emery for the Blackpool match.
Defenders Hector Bellerin, Nacho Monreal and Shkodran Mustafi did not the squad during the training session and are not expected to feature in the Blackpool Vs Arsenal fixture. However, all three players are undergoing individual training sessions to make them available for the next Premier League match against Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham side.
Mesut Ozil also did not train with the team on Thursday, as speculations over his future continues to surmount. The German play-maker has rarely featured under Emery this season and is believed to have fallen out with the manager.
However, the manager was reluctant to speak on the speculations. Emery just talked about his injury and the possibility of him playing in the Blackpool Vs Arsenal game. The Arsenal boss said in his pre-match press conference:
“I am only waiting [for him] to be OK to play.”
“Mesut didn’t train this morning. Tomorrow is the last day, so we are going to wait for tomorrow, for how we can be for Saturday”
These reports, although, not so satisfying for the Arsenal ers are atleast some good news coming from the Arsenal camp.
