The latest rumour for Manchester United is from The Mirror, which says that Manchester United defender Eric Bailly is eyeing a move away from the Red Devils over a perceived lack of playing time. The M.E.N. revealed Bailly was completely dropped from the squad against Tottenham citing certain ‘techincal reasons’, having been blameworthy for Brighton’s three goals in the previous match. 4s13o

Despite suffering that setback, Bailly has shown his commitment to United, who have conceded seven goals in their first three league games for the first time ever in 39 years.
Despite that several news outlets are reporting since yesterday that the Gunners and their rivals Tottenham were interested in the centre-back.The 24-year-old started the season for Manchester United but has since been dropped after a disastrous performance in the defeat to Brighton. Most bookies think Bailly could well be on his way to the Emirates with odds of 5-2.
“The betting suggests the two North London clubs could battle it out for Eric Bailly in January if the Dutch defender does leave Old Trafford,”
“Arsenal currently top the betting to land the Manchester United man as it would be no surprise if the two clubs were to put together another swap deal.”
said Coral’s John Hill.
And according to M.E.N‘s Richard Fay, Man United would be willing to let Bailly leave in exchange for Ozil, who Mourinho managed at Real Madrid and has ired the German since his Real Madrid days. United and Arsenal completed a swap deal in the January transfer window involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alexis Sanchez.
Prizing Ozil away from Arsenal, however, would be a difficult task. The former recently penned a new contract at Arsenal and seems content at the club despite rumours of a rift with Unai Emery. Tottenham boss, Mauricio Pochettino is reported to be a big irer of the centre-back and is interested in him too.

Bailly started the first two games of this season but endured a nightmare display in the 3-2 defeat to Brighton in August. Jose Mourinho had only started Bailly once in the last eight games of the 2017/18 campaign. The Ivorian hasn’t had a start since his horror show against Brighton and Hove Albion last month.
Bailly was a £30 million g for United from Villarreal in 2016 and made a bright start to his career at Old Trafford. But he has struggled for fitness and form over the past 12 months. Bailly is understood to be frustrated at his present and also the future under ‘the Special One’ and is considering looking elsewhere in January if he continues to be frozen out.
Moreover, United are reportedly keen to sign a centre half amidst the Toby Alderweireld. Sources told the MEN that Bailly had no intention of seeking a move but if his ‘punishment’ continued he would have to consider his future real soon.
🤷♂️ Reports are suggesting Eric Bailly is ready to quit Man Utd with Arsenal and Tottenham looking for him on a move in January.

Time will say whether it’s for real or just to stir the United pot. Meanwhile, Manchester United face the newly promoted Wolves this coming Saturday in the Premier League
