But it is rumored that Arsenal are still active in transfer window and chasing a winger in the form of Ivan Perisic and Yannick Carrasco. While the former is a most likely event happening as Inter Milan are open to the idea of selling him. But due to Arsenal’s tight budget for the winter transfer window, all they could afford is a loan move for the Croatian winger.
Meanwhile on the other side side of the globe, Belgian winger Carrasco who left Atletico Madrid for Chinese side Dalian Yifang is not likely to leave this transfer window. The Belgian International is earning a huge paycheck back in the middle east and the chances of matching that and paying such hefty fees is more likely to be impossible for Arsenal, atleast in this transfer window.
Arsenal are also in for a loan deal for PSG midfielder Christopher Nkunku. Arsenal Manager Unai Emery rates the 18 year old highly and has worked with him during his time at PSG. Reports say that Nkunku is available on an inital 2 million loan with an option to buy.
Ornstein: The Gunners remain in negotiations to sign a wide player – Inter Milan's Croatia international Ivan Perisic is among the options being pursued, with Belgium winger Yannick Carrasco of Chinese club Dalian Yifang another to have been linked.

One of Arsenal’s weakest links is their defence and it came as a shocker as they didn’t even consider buying a defender this january transfer window. The only logical explanation is that Arsenal have identified targets in the summer transfer window and are looking to improve their squad so they could be considered as title contenders next season.
As the transfer window is close to shutting down, the teams must push their limits to push for a top 4 spot. Many would think that last two spots could be filled by Tottenham and Man United as Tottenham have accumulated a lot of points in the beginning of the season and Man United are finding their rhythm back.
