
Reports in suggest that Arsenal are considering making a move for Frankfurt attacker Jesper Lindstrom in the 2023 summer transfer window. However, they may encounter tough competition from Brentford, and will need to pay a substantial transfer fee.
Jesper Lindstrom has had another productive season so far, scoring seven goals and providing four assists in 21 Bundesliga appearances (stats via Transfermarkt). In the previous season, he had acquired 5 goals and 5 assists in 29 league games.

The Danish winger is already a fan favourite at the German club, having helped them win the Europa League last season. He has also ed his name in Frankfurt’s history books after scoring the club’s first ever Champions League goal, during the club’s first ever win in the competition, a 1-0 away win over Olympique Marseille.
According to German publication Sport1 (via Gunners are tracking him extensively and are looking at a summer swoop. The club has been searching for a right winger since last summer to provide cover and competition for Bukayo Saka, and the Dane perfectly fits the bill.
However, Frankfurt are expected to demand a big fee for Lindstrom, who is contracted to them until 2026. The report suggests that it would take an offer of around €35 million (£31m) to convince the German side to sell, which is a high price for a player who would likely play a rotational role initially.

Meanwhile, Premier League side Brentford are also keen on g the 22-year-old. Despite not playing in Europe, he would be open to ing the Bees as five of Lindstrom’s international teammates play there while their manager, Thomas Frank, is also Danish.
